First off, let me say that the price we paid for our stay at this hotel was an absolute steal. We couldn't believe the value for money we got. The room was dated but exceptionally clean and neat, with a lovely porch and rocking chairs that overlooked the beautiful lake. It was so peaceful and tranquil, just what we needed for a weekend getaway. And speaking of the location, it was fantastic! Just minutes away from all the conveniences we needed, yet tucked away in a serene setting. We even had access to canoes and paddle boats, which was a fun bonus. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The basic amenities like cable TV, Wi-Fi, and walk-in showers were all in place, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. this hotel provided us with a relaxing and enjoyable weekend, and we definitely plan on coming back.
If I had to find one small thing that could be improved, it would be the dated appearance of the rooms, but honestly, it wasn't a big deal at all.

we have stayed here for one night. we think the beds were large. 10 minutes on foot from hubba hubba smokehouse where tasty food is served. there were wi-fi and a kitchen provided.

Enjoyable and Convenient Stay Our recent stay was enjoyable and convenient. the location was perfect with many nearby restaurants and shops. We loved the beautiful scenery and found the local bakery to be a delicious breakfast spot. the room was clean and spacious, and we appreciated the provided kitchenware for our cooking needs. the on-site amenities, such as the pool and pond, were enjoyable.
Misleading Information we found some of the pricing information to be misleading. Advertised discounts were not applicable and we were disappointed to find no complimentary toiletries in the room.

The location of this lodge is fantastic, with stunning views up to Glassy Top mountain and a beautiful lake right outside your door. Plus, it's conveniently located very close to the popular Flat Rock Playhouse and just next door to a bakery, so you'll have plenty of entertainment and delicious treats nearby. the rooms are cozy and provide all the necessary amenities, including a flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi. the lodge also offers a great pool for relaxation and fun activities like canoeing and paddle boating on the lake.
Some guests have complained about cleanliness issues in the rooms, which is definitely a downside that needs improvement.

The hotel offers great value for money with reasonable rates and a fantastic setting around the lake. The rooms are quite adequate with kitchenettes and fridges, which is a convenient feature for guests. The staff also goes above and beyond in providing friendly greetings and helpful information, such as providing coupons for local restaurants. Additionally, the WiFi works well, ensuring guests can stay connected during their stay.
All aspects of our stay were satisfactory.

We stayed at a lodge over Christmas and had a fabulous time. The lodge had a beautiful lake with free canoes and paddle boats for guests to use. It was a great activity to enjoy during the day. The lodge was also located in a quaint village, which was walking distance from the lodge. It was so convenient to have access to fabulous food just a short stroll away. the lodge offered a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for a winter getaway.
One downside we found was that the wifi in our room was quite slow. It was okay for checking emails, but streaming videos was a bit of a challenge.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming lodge surrounded by beautiful nature. The hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices for their well-maintained and clean rooms. The attention to detail was impressive, from the cozy kitchenettes in the rooms to the complimentary life vests for guests to use on the picturesque lake. The location of the hotel, just a short walk from a quaint village with fabulous food, was a definite highlight.
My experience at this hotel was excellent.
